Inlet Capital

Private Equity

Inlet Capital seeks to invest in various real estate related assets and entities throughout the United States. Inlet will consider acquiring or investing in both control and non-control transactions, including special situations, divestitures, sale/leaseback transactions, recapitalizations, leveraged buy-outs, and management buy-outs.

Inlet Capital acquires real estate portfolios and pursues corporate sale/leaseback transactions that represent highly attractive risk-reward opportunities. Inlet's acquisitions typically range in size from $50 million to $500 million and are collateralized by both major property type and/or alternative real estate-related assets.

An example of our private equity activities is the Charter Oak Partners transaction, a $491 million acquisition of a nationwide 3.4 million square foot portfolio of factory outlet centers. COP Holdings LLC, an affiliate of Inlet, originated, advised and participated in the transaction, which closed in December 2003.
