Inlet seeks to invest in various real estate related assets and entities throughout the United States. Inlet will consider acquiring or investing in both control and non-control transactions, including special situations, divestitures, sale/leaseback transactions, recapitalizations, leveraged buy-outs, and management buy-outs.
Inlet acquires real estate portfolios and pursues corporate sale/leaseback transactions that represent highly attractive risk-reward opportunities. Inlet’s acquisitions typically range in size from $50 million to $500 million and are collateralized by both major property type and/or alternative real estate-related assets.
An example of our private equity activities is the Charter Oak Partners transaction, a $491 million acquisition of a nationwide 3.4 million square foot portfolio of factory outlet centers. COP Holdings LLC, an affiliate of Inlet, originated, advised and participated in the transaction.
